This page lists active product issues we are aware of. We update it as fixes ship or new issues are confirmed.

Rewarded undo ads may not play (iOS App Store build)
Status: AdMob app verification complete — Google app review in progress (typically 2–3 days)
Affects: Free tier on the production iOS app (App Store builds that use real ad units)
What you may see
After using your free undo for a puzzle, choosing Watch an ad for 1 more undo can show:
The ad could not play. Try again in a moment.
Why
Google AdMob successfully verified our app-ads.txt file and linked App Store listing. The iOS app is now in Google’s final review before real ad inventory fills. Until AdMob status changes from Requires review to Ready, production builds may not receive live ads.
This is expected for new AdMob apps and is not a bug in the game binary.
What we’re doing
- Monitoring AdMob Policy center / app status daily.
- Production builds already use real AdMob app and ad unit IDs.
- UMP consent + iOS ATT are wired for GDPR and tracking compliance.
Workarounds
- Premium Pass — unlimited undos and no ads (upgrade in the app).
- Try again in a few days once Google completes review (we will remove this notice when production ads are confirmed).
- Internal QA builds with Google test ad units (
production-test-adsprofile) still work for development.
Offline play
If you are offline (airplane mode, no connection), ads cannot load. The app should show an offline message instead of the generic “could not play” error. You can still play bundled puzzles offline; only the rewarded-undo ad requires a connection.
Android ads
Status: Monitoring
Android AdMob setup is in progress. Rewarded undo and interstitial ads may be unavailable or unreliable on some Android builds until the Play Console and AdMob apps are fully linked and approved. Premium Pass works the same on Android.

- Device (e.g. iPhone 15, Pixel 8)
- App version (Settings in the app, if shown)
- What you expected vs what happened
