Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Football Solitaire ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not download or use the app.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this app, or 16 years old if you are a resident of the European Union or of a country where a higher minimum age applies by law. By using it, you confirm that you meet the applicable requirement.

2. The Game

The app is an entertainment puzzle game with football-themed trivia content. It is not affiliated with FIFA, any national football association, or any official tournament organiser unless we state otherwise in writing. Historical football facts in puzzles are used for educational and entertainment purposes only.

Content is provided "as is" and "as available." We may update puzzles, features, or availability without notice.

3. Intellectual Property

All content in the app — including but not limited to puzzle designs, trivia content, graphics, sound, and software — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not:

FIFA®, World Cup™, and related marks are trademarks of FIFA. We make no claim to these marks and are not an official FIFA product or partner.

4. Purchases

Optional in-app purchases unlock additional content or remove ads as described in the store listing.

Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Refunds follow each store's policies — we cannot issue store refunds from inside the app.

Use Restore Purchases if you reinstall the app or change devices.

All purchases are final once processed by the store, except where required by applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

We may remove leaderboard entries, suspend, or permanently restrict access to users who violate these Terms, with no liability to us for doing so.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud or abuse (including cheating or misuse of the leaderboard), or if we discontinue the app or related online services.

Purchases. Suspension or termination does not affect in-app purchases you have already completed, except where the law requires otherwise or where termination is due to fraud, abuse, or a material breach of these Terms.

Availability. We do not guarantee that the app or any online feature (such as leaderboards) will remain available forever. If we discontinue the app, we will use reasonable efforts to align with Apple App Store and Google Play policies so you can still use Restore Purchases and any entitlements the stores honour; we cannot promise perpetual operation of our servers or third-party services.

For any other termination of your right to use the app, the rights granted to you under these Terms cease, subject to the paragraphs above.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (excluding amounts paid to the app store) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. By using the app, you also accept that policy. The Privacy Policy is available in-app and at our website.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

The app is currently operated by an individual based in California. If a legal entity is formed in the future, these Terms will be updated to reflect that.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by these Terms.

11. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the app and supersede all prior agreements.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
